I found this website and it's set up fairly well. They have Tango show recommendations which I feel are legit compared to some other sites I've seen. Let me know if anyone wants to go with this place and I can book a dinner/show!

nice. we are on the same page. I just emailed Max yesterday asking him if he had any tango show recommendations, mentioning the one that my coworker recommends (yes, it has a wack website, but you never know). I also asked him about local futbol games and how we get tickets. I'll post his reply when I get it...

This tango show spectacular is held in a stunning theater, an Art Nouveau masterpiece created by the architect who designed the now closed ConfiterÃa del Molino, next door to Congreso. This theater had been closed for nearly 40 years and was only recently restored. Of all of the tango show palaces in Buenos Aires, this is the most beautiful, which adds even more excitement to the well-choreographed show.

I saw a review online that said the food is just okay... should we do the dinner + show or just the show? I guess if it's a long thing, dinner would make sense along with it.
